Ana Reyes was born in the City of Chirilagua, Department of San Miguel El Salvador. She joined the FiestaDC Board of Directors along with Rosibel Arbaiza and Maria Patricia Corrales Peñafil over 11 years ago. Ana Reyes was the President of Comité Pro-improvement Chirilagua-VA. She helped the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe and the David J Guzman school. She was the founder of the Balet Folklorico Salvadoreño Cuscatlan. She is Alumni of the Latin American Youth Center. Co-founder of the women's soccer group Las Amazonas in 1979, Ana Reyes has two Master's degrees, one of them in Business Administration.

Ana Reyes has served the Government of the District of Columbia for 25 years most recently in the capacity of Financial Manager fo the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development.
